Instead of doing just flat/hard shading, or just airbrushing, combining the two will help a lot in making your art ‘pop’. Also, you can do step 4 before you do step 3, doesn’t matter tbh.

My most recent art, I feel so proud of myself for making these. I think a more flat shading style works better for me, it ends up looking better in my opinion, plus it's way easier to do, and takes much less time than doing a whole airbrushing procedure
