5/ I chose to make this Replicant for it's overall trait mix, (the female admiral hat, butterfly tattoo are quite rare) & aesthetics. In this case I felt the new whole was better than the sum of its parts. Using the same process, any Avastars holder can design a custom pfp.

3/ Avastars Replicants are therefore a game of trade offs. Over time the market has started to differentiate between 'mint condition' prime and ones with used traits. Creating is destroying. There is new birth of an NFT, on chain, with value destruction.

2/ My Replicant above primarily combines the better ('more rare or more desirable') traits into a new Avastar. In the process, those trait copies are burned. I keep these two primes, but they are no longer 'mint condition' on chain. No one can use those traits again.
