finished the coloring on that sketch i did a few days ago! this was my first time coloring digitally, came out really sloppy and I definitely still have a lot to learn with shading and blending, but i gave it my best shot

Mostly not!Except for bg, all my layers are of varying opacity because my brushes' opacity depend on pressure, including base colors, so I wouldn't really have anything to clip to. By the time I start blending, I have merged all layers into one! I like how organic it feels too

Ok phase 1 vs phase 2 blending — now with bar fight battle damage! Sometimes after blending, the colors get washed out. Just re-apply color until you get it looking the way you want. :) want me to keep going? Leave a like ❤️

Learned to work better with colors, shading/blending, visualizing stuff in 3D, texture

Good to know all those photo studies paid off. Best advice I learned this year is to study from videos. Helped me study poses in "weirder" positions.
