I honestly feel like its a good thing to have a reliable set of brushes, but it is limiting in practice. I find that to truly be flexible you must be willing to tweak little things on your tools. 1/2

as for Get It Together (and warioware in general) the style doesnt require any unique brushes, but it can be hard to get faces down if they dont really fit into the series's same face -ish situation with its fem characters

There's multiple things you can do if you are unsure about going lineless, the blur was mentioned but another thing you can do is test out different brushes, or what I used to do with my cartoon style is have colored line work ^^ have a darker shade to match the colors!
