another pattern would be repeated tropes in character design. like we already went over how men keep being drawn huge and women as tiny but I'll raise you another form of bizarre sexual dimorphism: The Nose
"Allow me to show you Yugi Muto the difference between a Beetle Mimic Roach Female and Male the sexual dimorphism is truly amazing you almost would guess they were different Species Yugi!!" __ Weevil Underwood Probably
Today I present you an extinct Rhino from the Early Miocene of North America. Meet Menoceras, a pig sized rhino showing interesting sexual dimorphism. Male Menoceras sported two horns side by side at the tip of the nose, whereas the females were hornless.

I present to you a Giraffoid, Specifically a Climacoceratid Artiodactyl (even toed ungulate) from the Early Miocene of North Africa and Pakistan. Meet Prolibytherium (as i like to call it, Butterfly Giraffoid). A Ruminant displaying dramatic sexual dimorphism.

want to post Alien Baku and Jirou together so you can compare the sexual dimorphism in the species <3 Not too extreme
Once again, this species doesn't really... have 'nudity' since their exoskeleton covers their actual bodies, so females don't wear tops!!
The Unknown is a close relative of the Raths but isn't the same species as them. It's believed that the Unknown lacks sexual dimorphism, so one of them can be either male or female as well.
[2/13] We can start off with the new color variations for the Sinoceratops, it's unclear which one represents sexual dimorphism, but so far we have Green, Gray and Brown now
I had a thought about how half-assed #Pokemon sexual dimorphism was handled back when they were actually doing that, so I used what little entomological knowledge I had to make them realistic. Female Heracross and Pinsir, and male Mega Beedrill and Ariados.
-demon people??
-dragon people??
-humans with horns
-I am sad that the females are not larger than the males sexual dimorphism
-I hope you guys lay eggs bc otherwise all these mothers die giving birth WHY ARE THEY SO SMALL
Two mating Sacabambaspis, shown here with speculative sexual dimorphism, the male having brighter colours and a more flamboyant tail than the female.

@buncrimes Rixas for being a scholar is a bit more musclar than average for Xaela, bit on the short side, longer tail and her eyes have a darker tint to it similar to males (my head canon Xaela have black sclera fuck sexual dimorphism)
Probably the most notable difference kinda stands out.
{hbf} tohri ♀ based on bird sexual dimorphism. not feelin the art today but im committed to making everyone look at it regardless.
Sketched an Acrocanthosaurus to play around with sexual dimorphism. Also threw in some fan art from one of my favorite webtoon canvas comics :) #paleoart #dinosaurart
@livetweetinghs sexual dimorphism in pop culture only exists to specify "female", and "male" is apparently bland and featureless. Examples include: Bathroom signs, Wobbuffet from Pokémon, Mickey and Minnie + virtually every M/F pair of anthro characters
It's silly and sexist and lazy design
Sexual dimorphism is where the males and females of the same species possess different characteristics...these are some that I have found and doodled that are named after the male characteristics @CCriadoPerez @tkingdot @theAliceRoberts @thistledownseed @womensart1
If anyone can recommend a good resource on how to use linux I would appreciate it, for now here's a sketch of some naked aliens. I liked the sexual dimorphism of peacock spiders so I tried to do that for these aliens, small bright chromatic male and larger monochromatic female
ok heres my personal favorites bc they are so beefy: BUMIDAE. one thing i forgot to note is that theres low sexual dimorphism, AFAB bumidae have higher T levels than AFAB humans and thus have proto-manes and a lot of muscle mass
