She was based on a mix of Leslie Thomkins - Batman's doctor - and Karin Chokwas from Mass Effect.

Im so happy that people are still excited about Steelbeak, talking about him and drawing/writing. I spent a good portion of my life convinced that he was gone and I would never see him again. He was my favorite DWD villain when I watched the show as a kid in the 90’s
