Cones’ first design compared to her latest. Not much has changed! There was a very brief period where I made her hair really exaggerated (you can still see that in my other pieces of her) I’m glad I didn’t keep it though, looked terrible.

@roseqore @vertekins I'd like to compare it to Piccolo's eyebrows. He's been expressive without changing their shape too much. The last one is an example of an over-exaggerated expression that happened a couple times and did not became his standard shape, unlike Evan's Silver.

I usually draw expressions a little exaggerated, but I have been Stunned™ at how Tom Sturridge can make his face SCREAM emotions while barely moving it. So I challenged myself to try & capture a smidgen of that intensity – & also play with different coloring methods.

Here is the improvement breakdown. This one was tough because I was really happy with it to begin with. I kept the proportions close to the original though since I like the exaggerated look for this pirate. What do you think? Hope you guys like it!
