I think I've figured out my approach to going from greyscale to color. I found an overlay layer to get the colors i want when painting over the greyscale. at least enough to start with. Still have a lot to refine with the process tho.

Beekeeper - one finished piece from batch commmissions for Karma. Pretty unusual to paint out toony into realistic backgroun, next time, I am not gonna use greyscale. Had some fun using bunch of different brushes by Rhysgriffiths, EldarZakirov, Ivadesign and Dierat.

When you wanna just...draw really bright things due to your SGA being 90% in greyscale. It's dnd ocs, Wilhelm and his (dead) mentor Farwald (red.) The red one was more to mess around with a different rendering look but both were fun to do!

1) irene's og outfit + magic is green, although the comic is in greyscale...i've been amused by how many ppl said they pictured her in blue or purple, luckily i have a cover now so hopefully that helps

This was honestly a struggle, cuz I moved away from colorful scenes for a while in my pursuit of perfecting greyscale. But it was a joy to work on. Crowe is getting the hang of being a guardian and enjoying the festivities with Raven. ^w^
