I think I started with the shapes I could easily identify. So I started with the halo headshape and tried to build down. The reference I was given looked like this (it's a super cool painting but with that pose and all those highlights, it was a bit confusing as a ref, hah)

Ultimate Evolution for Freezer Race, the transformation Cooler uses. That's the thing I talked about above. It makes you bigger, changes your headshape, jaw and bio-armor into a Cooler type (pun intended). I made an example of how it could look with my own cac.

I made a head model in Sculptris to get a read of what the heck his headshape is, this headstyle is notoriously difficult for me (ironic considering the only dragon-esque thing I know how to draw is my own ghost creatures based on crocodiles and I drew those for like 5 years)

the overall headshape is done! i only need to add small/easy details like the ears, the neck and the tongue
After that only the hair will be left to model, I feel like it'll be hard but so far, everythign i though I'd have major trouble ended not being that bad!
