"Through the Land of Twilightfall"

This is one of the more imaginative drawings I did over the span of several months in one of my sketchbooks. Also, a canoeing bird!

It's technically supposed to be purple, but you don't get dark purple highlighters. I like it though.😂

My perception of her keeps shifting, but here's a picrew of her and her original character art.

By complete coincidence and I both bought each other a multipack of different color highlighters. As an experiment I used them for all the base colors and then shaded with a mix of brush pens and colored pencil.

Increasingly good frogs n this sketchbook I think... I blame not one but two of my friends for raising my interest in drawing frogs. *whisper hisses* you know who you are.

Bought some pastel highlighters today and tested them out. They do not like ink

I wanna practice using highlighters and this art style so if y'all want your oc drawn just ask. No anthro characters please, i'm still figuring them out ;; Not guaranteed the drawing will get done bc procrastination. RTs are appreciated ;;
Example below^^

Closeups + winners references of choice (out of a few with some design changes) ! It’s been some time since I last worked with only pastel colors, so I made them a little brighter but I had fun picking them^^ they remind me of my highlighters a lot
