@MAR_cookies yaA THIS EXACTLY. both are about self-improvement, different approaches but essentially, similar if you dig them to the core. I love every single quote you have there....😭
Also, these two quotes by Bokuto & Akaashi + Reigen mean the exact same thing!
Art summaries from the past 2 years :D Lots of improvement, excited for future art projects!!
#skillnottalent 2020 > 2021 > 2022
Kinda weird to look at these and see visible improvement, but being someone who’s so hypercritical of my own work that it feels like I haven’t improved at all.
#SkillNotTalent I wish I have kept my old drawings from before 2010'... I do see some improvement, tbf could have been a better improvement if I were not lazy or artblocked;;
2009? >> 2022
just dumping my wips and incompletes for 2022.
it was a yr of improvement, ty to those who helped me get more comfy w sharing. i hope to look back on this and celebrate how far ive come.

2021 ---> 2022
Loving my improvement, last year me would've been proud
@ValkFolf_Artz Its alright no need to apologize, feeling alone and feeline like youve been alone for most or all of life feels dreadful, losing people is rough, emotions work to fix an offbalance, some make u take action, so despite the past and the pain. keep following improvement, u got this!
2018-2022. If a dumbass like me can see some improvement, I believe anyone can. #SkillNotTalent
2012 → 2022 #SkillNotTalent
I'm so proud of myself. that my work can develop like this. Therefore, stop diminishing the artist's value. We are proud of our craftsmanship. In the process of self-improvement, it was something that brought a lot of happiness and good experiences.
2020 // 2022
Still not 100% satisfied w my artstyle and still have way too much room for improvement, but I'm happy with what I've achieved so far 💙

10 years difference!! much less cringe, but still a little bit x,DDD I'm not the most talented or the one that has had the most improvement, but I try my best little by little >:D
@ChloeCarterArts Bonus to show roughly ~1-2 year improvement, leftmost the oldest. From one of my very first drawings to the most recent ones. It's far from what I wish I could make, but I am proud of it, and it helped me see you can actually improve and get closer to what you want.
2020x2022
not really to compare improvement, my style has shifted itself so many times and I still there is some space of changing tho
Back in the day I still used vectors to draw using a mouse and it was so fun

2011 x 2022
Even tho I shift between styles so often that it's quite hard to feel my improvement, I'm happy that I continue having so much fun drawing
Also, that was my first year with a drawing tablet, feeling quite nostalgic ngl

For a while i feel my growth has stagnated, however looking back i can see some clear improvement, ill try to work towards even more improvement in the future and hopefully this 2021 drawing will look just as bad as the 2012 one in comparison XD
2012 > 2021
As it turns out, having a favorite character with a prosthetic arm is great motivation to improve on drawing hands. I made the 1st piece early this year as a reference for myself!
Still have room for improvement, but I really like how I've been doing it lately.
I was never in the "talented-kid category", and my skills need so much more improvement, but oh well... this is then and now.
