I think it’s mainly because it’s pre-evolved form didn’t exactly hit/foreshadow it. I think more people were expecting something like Purrloin and Liepard

Liepard color palette! I ended up using the green and red sparingly, which I think really makes it pop! Though maybe I'll play around with it, make a version with a red moon instead!

Shiny Purrloin/Liepard and Opera are literally the same because they are mischievous lil cats who enjoy messing w ppl that go from blackish to red (Opera dyed their hair as their tail is still black)

One character I feel I can relate to/strive for is Cheren from Pokémon! A very kind, smart, tenacious overthinker. He does not hesitate to help out others, and even risk his life for friends and family, like when his sister’s liepard was stolen.
