Ode to #jade beads (#Aztec #limerick no. 33)
On your journey to Mictlan you’ll need
Warm clothing, food, drink… and a bead;
We know it sounds funny
But the jade was like money
To pay for your soul to be freed.

Our latest #limerick - an ode to #Aztec/#Mexica warrior-musicians:-
There was a young man from Otumba
Who fought as if dancing the rumba.
He brandished obsidian,
His movement Euclidean
To the rhythm of Zumba que Zumba.

LIMERICK (2/2)
To the right there's Ian, the lead engineer and builder of the Limerick. He's a lot more tired and apathetic than the rest of the crew, but has a few sparks of interest that drive him along. Finally, Chrysia is a god of destruction wrapped in a very soft shell.
LIMERICK (1/2)
This was an attempted comic about a near-future mercenary band of the warship CPS Limerick. The crew is lead by Chalkou, an overworked, short-tempered genius military tactician, and Tetsu an equally bright but indecisive second-incommand.
Do you like poetry? How about having a spooky limerick day? We’ll start:
Ember's got so much to say,
and she says it in such a nice way!
The gods will not help,
She states with a yelp,
The flames make an ugly display.
Your turn!
It was an absolute pleasure to meet so many of our Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board Assistant Principals over the last two evenings via @Zoom @LimClareETB with the wonderful @finnomurchu and Elizabeth Flanagan.
Looking forward to seeing you in December

Timothy may have been a priest
but at night became a beast.
Predominantly #crepuscular,
his body all green and muscular
on Yorkshire folk would feast.
