Interesting observation while viewing

MLP:FIM movie was in 2D with 3D backgrounds

MLP:NG is obviously a 3D movie but there were a few 2D matte paintings in the bg. I guess it's considered a cost saver but I wish there were even more! Added a lot of charm!

My wierdest OC to date would have to be Jack. He's a pony oc I made "ironically" (I stole someone's Scout pony and made it my Steam pfp for TF2). After that phase passed I thought nothing of it and left it in the dust, but ponies are fun to draw.

So I've been on a Transformers kick recently, and I've only just now discovered that there was a MLP:FiM crossover comic with Transformers.

The cover alone is amazing, Optimus over here being like "Hmmm, yes, I must collect these Technicolored Friendship Equines"

Take MLP:FIM for example: The show's background characters (Derpy Hooves, DJ-PON3, Bon Bon, Etc.) weren't important at first glance, but eventually, MLP fans began to make LOTS of fanart of these ponies! In fact, they were so popular that they got their own episode in season 5!

Saw some MLP on the timeline and it reminded me that back in the MLP:FiM craze back in 2011(?) I used to draw the characters.

My interest declined when the show quality sank from season 3 onwards but I still think the character designs are great.
