When I'm not as able to dial the colors as finely in the base images that become the painting collection, I'm often surprised at the results. Sometimes I like them more. Sometimes, less.

I'm still not 100% sold on this one, but it has some charm and some movement.

I'm a day late but I just had to paint this image of a Robust Ghost Pipefish which looks like some sort of cosmic sci-fi alien. These fish mimic seagrass in both movement and external appearance which helps them to catch prey. 🐠
