I had to draw another cult classic spooky babe for Halloween and this time it was my favourite werewolf: Ginger!

This movie is simultaneously perfectly suspended in time, but still incredibly timeless. It's also sooo deeply steeped in Canadiana. Pure nostalgia.

My critique is that those paintings are just Thomas Kikade painting for 90s kids. Overly-polished, extremely artificial, too much emphasis on "warm light." It all feels very unnatural in it's capture of nostalgia. Nothing feels "lived in".
