Una historia sobre rakugo de lo más entretenida y con ritmazo. Akane quiere convertirse en rakugoka para «vengar» a su padre, que fue expulsado por su maestro tras una competición. El dibujo y las expresiones son muy buenos, ojito a la carismática protagonista.

Just to backtrack a little, it was remiss of me--in that I literally didn't see it on the list I was using for that year--to not put Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju in 2016, so look, pretend I did, because that was also Extremely Good if Very Sad.

2016 - I am once again asking everyone to watch Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, it's so underrated and so so tragically beautiful. I remember when it aired I was afraid to watch the new eps because I knew I would be an emotional wreck afterward.
