The girls with long necks are called "rokurokubi" The living object ones are called "tsukumogami."

One of the most famous tsukumogami is the Karaksa Obake, an umbrella yokai.

I imagine rokurokubi would greet other rokurokubi with their version of a handshake but with their necks but
Ran forgets this sometimes and extends her neck on reflex when greeting others like Kana. At least Ran sticks her hand out too. ^^;

Similarly in Japan there's "nukekubi", which literally means "detached neck". Normal humans at day, floating heads thirsty for blood at night! Related to "rokurokubi", the long-necked youkai.
