I think my absolute favorite art growing up was from the Spiderwick chronicles. Tony DiTerlizzi‘s ability to make fantasy creatures feel real and part of our world really influenced how I view the world and how I draw.
Art Inspiration For Today: Spiderwick by Tony DiTerlizzi (American), cover illustration for the Spiderwick Chronicles, acrylic, gouache on bristol board, genre: Surrealism, Fantasy Art, 2003 #ArtInspirationForToday #Spiderwick #TonyDiTerlizzi
The color studies for my Spiderwick-is Orchid Sprite are coming along. Tomorrow I'll try something completely different before we begin the final piece. In case you missed it: https://t.co/CIqxGv7HhO #fantasyart #illustration #spiderwickchronicles
I still stand by the fact that the Spiderwick Chronicles creature designs are super cool.
it’s hard to pick one design from spiderwick chronicles to feature. that’s tony diterlizzi for you! but I find myself especially attached to the goblins. bats and frogs are odd animal choices that still feel distinctly “gobliny” and they’re just so raggedy and charming.
Some fairy sketches. Thinking about Hellboy, and The Spiderwick Chronicles, and their influence on my interest in creature design.
good morning to the illustrations of the spiderwick chronicles by @TonyDiTerlizzi and @hollyblack only.
me, watching the spiderwick movie: can’t believe they bimbofied the griffin smh :/
Maybe a big reach, but part of me wants to believe Q-Bee's eyes were inspired by Charlotte. Darkstalkers was inspired by a lot of Western animation after all
Yes I'm making another Nick movie vid. Next to watch Spiderwick Chronicles

Depuis ma primaire je suis une fan des livre Spiderwick et de Faery. Je dessine des fées florales depuis mon college car je suis amoureuse de ce concept 🌸

1- Ewilan's Quest (i'm forever sad this never got translated in English bc non-French kids will never know what they missed out on)
2- Harry Potter
3- Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism

Honorable mentions for Spiderwick, Nancy Drew, & Fantômette https://t.co/jYH7VesQyo
#3FaveBooksWhenIWasAKid All of the Spiderwick Chronicles, but I remember loving the Ironwood Tree the most. Scary Stories (as well as one that was a haunted Ontario book) cuz I loved ghosts and creepy shit. As well as all of the Series of Unforunate Events books.
Based on the questions regarding the cover design for “Arthur Spiderwick’s Field Guide”, I thought I’d share some of the ideas that were presented. The griffin was not my first choice as I was concerned it didn’t convey the fairy element as strongly as a pixie or sprite would.
Eu gosto muito de The Spiderwick Chronicles, então fiz a Wood Elf do Field Guide, e foi o desenho mais detalhados que eu já fiz na vida
RT 🔁 e ❤ são muito importantes <3
I've enjoyed seeing the comments and love for Spiderwick, which is currently airing on Netflix. Here's a vintage-styled poster I created as a gift for the cast and crew.🎨#spiderwickchronicles #spiderwick #movieposter
