Though this might be neat to show! 4 iterations of Spinosaurus, showing the development of my painting from 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019.
The latest Spino is actually a remake of the 2016 print, as I wanted to compare the two styles.
(hopefully) got all the overlapping cranial material, although still debating on whether to include that one nasal fragment
postcrania is going to be a pain...
#spinosaurus, #sigilmassasaurus, and anything inbetween
@jimmadseni @MarkWitton @SerpenIllus I'm not the only one, yay! In all seriousness though, I hear good arguments on both sides for lips or liplessness in Spinosaurus, aesthetically I prefer lips. That's a nice looking Spino you got there Wyatt!
who says dinosaurs can't make good cowboys too? super cute custom design i got from @riverwrynn inspired by the moodboard !!! his name is Russet to match with my spinosaurus, Azure !!
Dinovember Day 17: Suchomimus. A relative to the Spinosaurus, Suchomimus have large thumb claws that’re perfect for snatching fish out of rivers. #DrawDinovember #Dinovember #Dinosaurs #Suchomimus
Not quite finished with #Spinosaurus, but here is a #workinprogress animation of where I am now.#dinosaur #wip #theropod #cretaceous #paleo #paleontology #paleoart #sciart #science #educational #digitalart #digitalillustration #illustration #art #artistsontwitter
Given the recent publication of young Spinosaurine material from Morocco, as well as the subsequent flood of artwork depicting a speculative young Spinosaurus, I thought I'd contribute for day one of #JurassicJune and #FossilFriday https://t.co/Nau6qh8cee
Highlights from the #paleostream. Old Egyptian Spinosaurus, expressionistic Giraffatitan, graffiti ammonite and minimalistic T. rex.
Another image from in-prep Usborne #dinosaurs book: swimming Spinosaurus, as is (now) tradition. Poor coelacanth.
