OTOH, this is art at 16 vs. art at 28. They look like they could have been painted the same year. :') I grew my skills really fast as a teen and then kind of... stagnated. I don't seem to have the passion or energy to put that much detail into my work anymore.

Thanks! I actually stagnated for a while. From about 20 to 28.

But I grew a LOT in 2020. My 1st piece of 2020 vs an end of the year one

mostly i've been talking about colours... time to talk about anatomy~

i seriously stagnated in 2019 in terms of anatomy. that's because my focus was towards producing good artwork rather than improving - so i traced on 3d models...
it's not wrong, but it only helped me a little

202 has definitely been a slow year for me. I've not been drawing too much but I feel like the little I have drawn has shown a lot of improvement in the years that I've felt I've stagnated.

I JUST... want to say how proud i am of pushing my OC designs and my art this year. he started looking like a levi clone and now he feels like a Real OC with personality. i thought i stagnated. but i actually think i improved a lot!!

Subtle changes here and there this year, and they all kinda add up. 🤔

Lately I feel like I've stagnated. Need to experiment more but that takes so much work. 🙃 https://t.co/r1tc7tqzqP

I rediscovered some old drawings where I decided do my own take on some designs from 's Sunrider game. This must have been like from 2014? Really stagnated hard in the years since.

It's crazy how much I've improved from last year. I'm so proud of myself. I had felt like my art had stagnated for so long and I'm happy to see this improvement.
Left is last year. Right is this year(the new one took about 30 minutes longer)

Howdy, might as well also post about how I fall under the /#under500gang but still consider myself to be a Sure the follow count has stagnated forever but I'm always gonna be putting out fun and colorful pieces.

I just like to draw things for fun, but I've been here a few years and noticed this account has stagnated. I don't keep up with art hashtags but apparently this applies

One year after its breakout success, Jacob asks the question: through the 'Inusan Crisis' and beyond, has SPY x FAMILY stagnated? And does that even matter?

Gonna be sharing some old art over the next few weeks. Hoping all the flaws will inspire me to actually draw more as I’ve stagnated a bit recently.

Here’s some stuff I did for back in 2014ish

😭
Just by this, I could not tell you whether or not I've improved or regressed or stagnated💦

i stopped practicing digital art after 2012 and got back into like 1 year ago and i have completely stagnated. i can only copy gorillaz and completely loathe anything that isnt styled that way. slightly regret it but it is what it is

i wanted to prove to myself that my art hasn't stagnated entirely through the years. I ran out of steam and don't want to finish it anymore, but still fun to see side-by-side!

Heavy sigh
This is from 8 fucking years ago I've made no technical progress and I've only stagnated and backslid, because my stuff isn't anywhere near as, idk, interesting and dynamic anymore
