Good evening Terry & thank you. Yes,it is a superb painting & one of Walter Steggles' earliest experiments with impasto. In later life he re-worked "Stratford" as "Bow Back Waters" which I believe dates to the late seventies. You'll note some marked differences. https://t.co/Ho0ATC2FuH
