At 12, I got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I cried in fear & confusion for several mins. Then I remembered Sailor Moon who is a crybaby, yet still can fight. SM taught me courage & determination. In the same year, I finished watching the anime. Thank you, Sailor Moon! 😊💕

Actually, in the original Japanese version, the insulin line doesn't exist. There's no solid proof besides that about Yugi being diabetic. It's probably a strange translation change from Viz Media. I have no idea why, but I like that as a headcanon!
