I'm a fan of the character Emma manipulated and abused..

Not anymore because she's terrified of her and rightfully so, because Angelica has gone from a timid naive girl to an Avenger who has thrown down with Ultron and an X-Man who has set hell on fire

Also, Emma turning her backless outfit around to maker her X negative space is the raddest thing an X-man has ever done https://t.co/eq3wOFxVeI

Portrait of the best X-Man/superhero ever, Wolverine!! There’s a few things that I don’t like about this but I really miss drawing Logan and other X-Men like Nightcrawler, Beast, and Rogue

This differentiation of colour is used to establish the contrasting individuality of each X-Man and thus the varying spectrum of lives affected by Jean in one wary or another as they contemplate the battle to come and their respective fears going into it. 3/8

Holy shit! Mr Sinister is a original X-man he has been hidden in Xavier’s dna and mind influencing him in creating the x-men

So I’m catching up with my X-comics and while I didn’t end up liking Age of X-Man I think Uncanny X-Men at the time was killin it.

A much more focused book that’s darker with agitated protagonists struggling to get along as the last mutants. Plus great Logan/Scott content.

X-Man (who's pretty much God) bless for his Immortal X-Men covers with Emma Frost

Hepzibah: my favorite non mutant X-man/woman

Even in a very filler era of X-Man, this might have been the most fillery issue of all

24. X
Sadly one of the most important letters in Marvel history falls flat. Only the serendipitously named X-Man makes the top 400 😬 He’s joined at the top by Xorn(s?), Xavin, X-Cutioner…? (At first I had Laura Kinney here but hey https://t.co/NVd387OIGt has her as Wolvy so 😁)

Honestly, has the X-Men ever played with there being a way to not be a mutant anymore? Like the toss of an idea for the fact that some mutants were born unlucky? Just saying, I remembered the comic story of a X-Man that's literally a suicide bomber.

Okay, I have a new interpretation of Age of X-Man that I actually find kind of interesting.

Lines like these lead me to believe that the subtext of the story is a meta-narrative about writers implementing retcons and how readers and the characters themselves feel about that.

From there C cultivated an existing rivalry with Rogue, a romance with Longshot, a friendship with the other X-Ladies, and a shared misery/rivalry with the other reluctant X-Man, Havok. At the same time, Alison contributed verve and style to an otherwise grim Australia team. 6/7

Finally reaching the end of the Age of X-Man event and it’s one of the strangest comics I’ve ever read. I just have no idea what message they’re going for. Maybe there isn’t a message but then why do they tease the reader with one?
I’ll have more thoughts when I’m done.

Sharesse, aka was a Black mutant from a pseudo-utopian alternate reality created by the mutant gifted w/ the power to generate, control, become & transport through a mist of mind-altering gas, she was part of an effort to combat X-Man's machinations!
