Watched Yoshikazu Yasuhiko's Arion (1986)
I really adore the Marth feature film. As me and Brun kept saying the whole time, the film's phenomenal looking. An artist vanity project, but in a positive connotation. Expressionate! Beautiful. A film that an artist wanted to make.
@AYMRC https://t.co/AkKYvUlR02 Anime means Japanese animation, right ?... ^_^ When I was a kid, my idols were Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, Haruhiko Mikimoto, Tsukasa Dokite...

Compiling Yasuhiko Artwork of Zeta
How much *was* Yasuhiko involved in the project?
@Roogiroog It's closet to Yasuhiko's style seen in the art and not in the animation of the original.

The other influence would be Yoshikazu Yasuhiko girl and child characters, especially from Kum Kum - they combine the detail and delicate features of shôjo characters with a childishness and cuteness that would appeal to lolicon sensibilities (including Kanada's) in the late 70s
