I've watched some visual novel and otome game anime adaptations, but I never once played the game itself. I think I'll give it a try. I have my eyes on Hakuoki: Memories of Shinsengumi. My friend recommend it. Plus, it's been a long time since I played my 3DS. 😅

it has a few adaptations, most notably manga/anime. the anime is fairly faithful & starts out a bit rough but gets better looking as it goes on. the manga is the opposite, though it has some good side volumes featuring cool histories of some main characters & even npcs!
