I didn’t used to draw #cephalopods much (I didn’t used to draw #seacreatures in general unless you count mermaids), but recently I had the opportunity to #draw one for a friend’s #logo and I had a lot of fun crafting this little guy #octopus #logodesign #cute #cuddly #friendly
All done!
Such beautiful cephalopods 😭
Thank you!

It’s still #CephalopodWeek!
These spectacular #cephalopods are from Férussac & D’Orbigny’s ‘Histoire naturelle: generale et particuliere des cephalopodes’ (1835)

also! as it's #cephalopodweek, I wanted to share some of my #cephalopod #artwork.
I have an ongoing pyjama squid party that I add onto when I have #artistblock or when I'm struggling & stressed about #sciart commissions.
Happy #CephalopodWeek! Enjoy this "just-so" story about giant squid from our Head of Mollusks, Tim Pearce! https://t.co/wml3jFCuga

these cephalopods are gay and there’s nothing you can do about it!!!!!
Another for #cephalopodweek, the nautilus! A perpetual favorite — quite literally, as they’ve been around for a bajillion years. I believe that’s the technical term.
Aphetoceras, a free-swimming, bottom-dwelling nautiloid from the Ordovician. The 1st artwork I ever shared to social media!

It is #CephalopodWeek
Octopuses are too cool for this planet. I am so lucky to have witnessed their greatness underwater +in tidepools.
Here’s an #Octopus i illustrated for the March 2019 issue of @SanctuaryAsia Cub magazine + an Octo that i used to know in the Atlantic.
The Vampire Squid (Vampyroteuthis infernalis) is a gelatinous #Cephalopod whose binomial Latin name literally translates to "Vampire Squid from Hell". Too harsh? Read more on @BioDivLibrary #BHLib https://t.co/fNCqb9aA9z via @SILibraries. #CephalopodWeek🦑
