The WSJ Cover this week had references to folktales. Asta here is dressed up as the Peach Boy aka Momotaro! It's pretty fitting considering how Asta ended up in the Church of Hage just as Momotaro did when he ended up in a river near the home of an elderly couple. #BCSpoilers

After their mother's mysterious death & their father's later debauchery, Dahut & Rozenn grow apart, 1 learning their mother's magic, the other becoming a hermit until secrets are revealed & sacrifices made. Great retelling of Breton folktale. @_MTAnderson Jo Rioux @01FirstSecond

In some versions of Persian folktales, Kardakann was a gentle soul and like other western unicorns it had ability to purify water simply by immersing it´s horn into a stream, lake or a pond. It could also change it´s shape at will.
