Honestly really excited for the Remake of the Shaman King anime. It’s the perfect opportunity to expand on how big the universe Takei created really is. From the prequel stories to the sequels the universe combined with the spin off stories are great additions to the world.

Although well-known now due to the film, Wonder by R.J. Palacio is a great class read. Each chapter is so well crafted, giving different perspectives and prompting so many discussions. Always a winner, and now with several follow semi-sequels.

To sum it all up - neat ideas, retro charm, but there's no meat here. I'm sure if I had DQ games to compare it to, this wouldn't rate at all.

As it is, it feels like a 4/10. Not that good, but I was able to appreciate it for what it was.

I hear the sequels are better...
