what happened to my artwork and why it downgraded?

tbh I was dissatisfied with my art style, I don't wanna draw moe "cute" characters or bishies. I wanna draw the rough gekiga 80s/90s style, so I switched references to kaneko's artwork

I also just really love this render from the game so I thought it would be fun (and EASIER) to use it as a direct reference. ^^

(it's a reference to the FFVIII logo because it's our favourite FF)

Got 200 followers by making pictogram girls.

It's either that or size difference people really like the red ladies.

Now I don't know if to make more pictograms or size difference.

Warning: According to Deviantart's revised rules on character ages, Lyn from Fire Emblem would be considered "underage".

Deviantart has stated that they will go with the lower age in case of regional differences.

Lyn is 18-19 in English versions.
But 15-16 in Japan.
