There are days when the news is so heartbreakingly sad that it becomes hard to find the words. Social media can be heartless and unkind. These books might help younger people to empathise and understand that these are sons, daughters, mums, dads, cousins. People just like them.

You know what, keeping with a comedy, and going back to CN, Clarence is hella underrated. Has a lot of what made EEnE work, with a more subtle and weirdly adult perspective. Had a great comple sense of reality, child vs adult perspective, and shockingly funny.
Revisited Anthony Perkins’ PSYCHO III (1986). The frequent trotting out of callbacks to the original is creaky as heck, but I do enjoy the fevered neon gaudiness of it, with some strikingly staged suspense sequences. Pleasingly weird...
