Kuretake paints are great, if a bit sticky. There's a bit of gouache mixed in this too.

Would you believe me if I said all of this was ink?

I found some Japanese Kuretake ink made with this water-soluble dye, a few years back, and discovered it bled like velvet when water was applied. I've been refining the technique ever since... it's a form of inkwash.

What the metallic colors look like. I got Agent o's blue rings to show but not the other painted stuff.

This is Gansai Tambi/Kuretaki Pearl Colors. They work a bit like watercolors but have a metallic sheen to them. I can't say no to metallic colors!
