1) shapes of light and dark (2-3 max)
2) middle tones of each plane
3) high chroma colors, opaque lights, softening and hardening edges

3am thoughts: While searching for refs for Futaba, i JUST noticed that royal's art style for the thieves is similar to that of p4a (usage of colored highlights, similar shading, but obviously more advanced)

Can anyone confirm if these were done by the same artist or not?

Practice coloring with simple shapes.

I have noticed that my style tend to be too much shades and lights, so I'm trying to be less that.

Also I use 600 dpi for extra detailed on the lineart 😉😽
