I put some time into refining the algorithm for my Cylinder Lines series, and trying a few new ways of expressing it. 4800 x 6000 resolution.

A new drawing of my OC Chroma 0w0. I don’t feel like refining lining right now, but IMO it still looks good. I wonder if I can move towards cleaner sketching, but if not, I guess that’s ok too.

I've been doing CG modeling for over a decade (with a different program), but begun refining my skill since last year. Painstaking as it is, it's a lot of fun! Here's a couple of samples of characters I've created, translating them into CG figures (the last one is a WIP):

Hi I'm 20-something-years-old Shin and I love synthwave and cyberpunk themes! Contrasting neon and dark colors are my favorites to work with and I'm working on refining my characters/universe lore :']

Model sheets are created to show a character in its final form so the animators can understand the character to be able to animate it. Some of the model sheets are from the Kenner design team. Others are from the animation team with refining to make them easier to animate.

Last few days, been refining my Piqha. Partly because I aim to use them in RPGs, and if I can't make an RPG engine that starts in pixel art and switches to HD, I may as well work in HD from the start. But that means making design decisions earlier.

by the way, this is my process whenever I make stuff

I do a really bad sketch/doodle, try refining it more, and then steadily make improvements/refinements until I'm satisfied with the end product (which involves a LOT of feedback from people I know, lmao)

A colored sketch again, possible design of the main character in a cartoon idea I have.
Call her Shell Fish for now.

As for the process, refining sketch is almost as long making lineart, which bothers me, I must be doing something wrong

[1 hour 30 minutes drawing]

In the grand scheme of things THIS is what bothers me:

Let's say this artist posts the right image as "quick sketch" and never shows the left. The left is clearly the actual sketch. The right has more refining and time put behind it, so to label it as a sketch isn't right.

I start refining the face too!
He starts looking like his OC reference! /o/
