Lois Lane is sadly a hold over from an age in comics where a hero needed a damsel in distress. Even now, if she was modernized, she can’t represent the same values as Superman, & can only serve to hinder/be hindered by his character. Wonder Woman is his true complimentary piece.

In 1978, we got this beautiful book. 72 pages by Gerry Conway, Rich Buckler and Dick Giordano (and a host of other inkers helping out). And you had Superman, Captain Marvel, Supergirl and Mary Marvel. Young readers' minds blown across the world! What a book!
