I consider bad tracing as copying the art style and facial features as well as the pose where just tracing the pose is ok esp if you change it up a bit for instance this piece im working on was partially traced from black lagoon (its a wip sorry if it looks sus 😭)

I have never dealt with my art being copied/traced before. And even though the example may not be obviously traced, I still feel uncomfortable seeing anyone copying my work. No artist should need to worry about their work being copied. Thank you to those who informed me of this.

it almost looks like he reused the face for 18.5, but he actually just drew something very similar, maybe he traced his own art?

examples of what im talking about - in all of these, the base is traced (have to say allegedly ofc), yet they have been tweaked and altered with the artists OG style that it is a tad hard to see.
