Just spent 8.5 hours straight animating this for an upcoming YTP. I started with 3 frames from the original cutscenes and just sort of filled in the blanks. His hand looks a bit wonky, but it kinda fits the CD-i style.
And yes, I intentionally left out his crown. You'll see why.
Think Imma scrap the hand. The reference I used the hand looked a little wonky and I don’t like it very much. 😭 Time to find a new hand reference 💃

Shinkiro. Where do I start? The realism in his artwork is stellar, even if it looks a little wonky at times. It’s his artwork around 1999-2002 that I think are his best work and the amount of detail in them is amazing. If only I had his patience…

First ones out for #midjourney tend to be a bit wonky, but with some evolution they turn out quite nice. If you wanted to use an AI to rapidly previsualize concepts to develop by hand, MJ has the edge there.
