Then of course I do lineart. When I color I always do everything on separate layers. It's just easier that way. I have color palettes for every OC but for skin I always use the base color, and two other colors to shade.

@XRAY32P So this is my object oc, Pinkpop! Pinkpop's original sketch design is on the left and her official design is on the right. I was going to make her a lighter color, then I didn't want to. I have to admit, Pinkpop was one of the hardest ocs I took long to make. Thats her own Asset
