Furry biology is so confusing. Is the blue fur a survival adaptation? Why did sharks grow hair? Why have some reptiles developed toe beans? How and when did dragons diverge? Evolutionarily speaking none of this makes sense, and I’m gonna get to the bottom of it!

The images do not contradict each other. In dialogue from Mahi Mahi Resort, it's stated Judd is very svelte under his fur. His fur is just brushed or something in the 2nd pic. But the in-game models are actually inconsistent when it comes to sizes Judd, weapons, Octavio, etc.
