@Khalifist Trunks technically had 2 forms: Super Saiyan Rage was his Pseudo-God form that had elements of Legendary, Spirit Bomb Super Saiyan was when the hopes of everyone was subconsciously gathered and absorbed by Trunks and he formed it into the giant Energy Sword.

@Frosty_Arts_ For the most part I was inspired by Vegeta, I really like the gruff and aggressive type characters. Then Caulifla came to the show and I thought they were similar personality wise so I added some elements from her. Design wise I took some inspo from @/Nova4Nation
In more recent times there Digimon series is trying to fix some of those problems and although we are still not sure how it's going to end, there are a lot of elements that might not end as most fans would expect, so giving more context to why that happens was essential.
