Pamela was a hero, but once her comic went on hiatus she simply decided to retire to a higher plane of existence. Higher dimensions are hard to comprehend, so she took one panel along. It works inconsistently but generally allows other objects to come in and out just fine.

the scarf tail bounces up and down in the wind - you can see that the `y` position of the control points and the end point are randomly generated, but the `x` points are fixed - this keeps the scarf a consistent length, but allows it to have a different shape each time
