I need the logo to have good contrast against background.
This work in progress is a bit brighter and more colorful than the ingame graphics since more contrast is better for store art, but I think it's still showing the vibe of the game.
Thoughts?
gonna release the most powerful knowledge i possess about color temperatures but before that let's take a look at value and contrast, your first step to finally knowing what you're doing

It’s been almost 10 years since I’ve drawn this character.
So introducing, the first of her kind: the Water Kiead. The first Water Elemental of Shaolindia. Youngest of her siblings, gentle of heart and slow to anger. She is the stark contrast to her twin brother, the Fire Kiead.
So I decided to change the background to pink to help contrast with the clothing and change the mouth so I hope it still looks good tho
this was really fun to draw, i don't often work with such vivid colours and contrast. also spent a lot of time designing their streetwear outfits! here are some closeups ♥

Character design for my current manga commission, Savior's Asylum.
Delilah is the main protagonist's mom.
Script describes her as very professional at work with tons of credentials but is a stark contrast at home.
One can easily see where i drew inspirations from.

@quietmoths definitely nicer but still kind of weird imo. maybe combined with the line coloring it would look pretty sleek! it's just hard to wrap my head around b/c i do backgrounds and line coloring with contrast balance in mind but it's not impossible
@KellieNicely @RubinPingk Thanks, that's kind what I was going for since it both compliments and contrasts with her cold/distant personality. Plus, since she's the rival to my main character (who's main color is orange), I felt it only natural to make her blue 🟧🟦 #kidlitart
In contrast to my previous piece, the design of Lucario was a bit too busy for me. Perhaps at this point in time human-like characters were still difficult for me.

Some more Wyr for you, with a bonus halfling bartender, Branwick! This one isn't as monotonous because I put some real shading and contrast in it. Wyr is technically a servant, by law, but I promise Wyr and Branwick are the best of friends regardless.

@Danilo_O3O Solo elijo colores al azar. Solo busco que tengan algún contraste en la parte que coloreo. Osea; quiero que el pelo resalte y para ello hago hago que ambos colores sean muy brillantes, y ya con cosas como pantalones y zapatos pongo colores más opacos ya que esas partes noresaltan
