yup, rectangles/straight lines works for the backside braid method as as well~ depends on what look ur going for, to use straight or curvy lines~

Went from a sketch I wasn't a fan of to a pic I'm actually quite happy with. I tried out a sharper shading method that I think works pretty well. Also corrected some of the proportions in post, because that's what you're supposed to do, right?
