Some more random painting practice this evening. The brush I was using really wasn't fun for getting good blending, so I think I've learned I should stick more to what I enjoy, rather than what some other artists seem to be using...I think it still came out okay though

Funny thing about the Luigi and Marie drawing; I drew this when Splatoon was still new, and had no idea it was a popular ship at the time (so this was for humor, rather than actually supporting it). No chance of that happening now though, at least in my case. Since, well:

@MarioWorldFun I had a few but for sheer total frustration and disappointment, this one. F that game and F Ultra too. I'd rather fight the Blade of Miquella 50 times in a row. Thankfully I had the superior Konami game at the arcade and it got ported to the NES later on with a few levels added.

And that’s it for CONTEST II. The plot is fine, the artwork is good, and there are some fun moments, but none of it together ever rises above serviceable. Claremont gives us so much unnecessary wordage that again I can’t help but wonder if he would rather be writing prose. YMMV.
