and I collaborated on some art featuring our characters Cecilia/Cecil and Mordecai! Cecilia is a shapeshifter dhampir/nephilim and Mordecai is a vampire. We each lined and colored our characters, it was a fun challenge for sure.

Hi! The scythe's trail is a mesh disc with a material that has the "color" hooked up to swoosh.png, and incandescence hooked up to glow.jpg. The energy is just purple semi-transparent mesh shapes. Hope that helps!

Here’s the image I was studying. I really liked the limited color palette and how “simple” the style is. I think studying something like this will help me “go back to basics” and focus less on rendering an environment and more on shapes, colors, etc.
