🔍 i love the incorporation of picture frames again. just like in opera, it "frames" the boundaries of reality & illusion— a clever choice considering the theme is about magicians now. the backgrounds reminiscent to that of tarot cards that are often used for divination

1. Character

The character design is inspired by a roller bladder you would see in Dar es salaam. For the game animation I drew 4 frames for different sequences for the game as shown.

Here's some wireframes/texture progress. She's sitting at just under 2400 tris.
The mouth-open-profile texture is probably excessive, but I'm just making it up and experimenting as I go atm. The face uvs pan from 1 tile to the next to animate the facial features

(first finished frame from the doctor pmv!!!! some frames have bgs like these, others will have solid colors. ivory's parts will be pink/red hued because. love,,, gorse's will be blue hued because shes sad, and when theyre in frame together they'll mix/become purple hued!!!)
