I hope that the outpouring of love and adoration for Kentaro Miura brings greater attention not just to Berserk but to his work outside of it. Guts' story may never end, but Miura was able to see the likes of Gigantomakhia through to their conclusion. He's left us many gifts.

Berserk is a master calss at making you feel for it's characters . In A world with high fantasy, demons, gore, apathy, fairies, magic, and elves and all that stuff. There's something surprisingly human about all the conflicts and challenges the characters face.

Kentaro Miura, creator of the horror fantasy epic BERSERK, passed away on May 6th at the age of 54. The manga, still running after 32 years will presumably not get complete closure. I will prioritize an episode about this.

i have been so totally moved by berserk from the moment i was first exposed to it. miura’s work was some of the first art and writing i ever found myself in complete awe of. he was an absolute master of his craft and i’m very grateful for everything he gave us.

No había visto Berserk, pero solo con leer las reacciones de todos, puedo ver que Miura creo algo bastante especial, ya tenia pensado ver la adaptación del 97, así que lo comenzare cuando pueda, para comprender mejor la perdida que sufrieron varios.
