I look at my old (and less than ideal current pieces) like I look back at my child self. I’d never go and scold kid-Char for not being perfect/ smart/ strong enough.

I’m not going to do that to my old art either.

2021 was such a gem year for my drawing career, I was really proud of this work despite it having fatal issues just like the uneven shadow casting. I’m both happy and a little sad about current myself. I could finish least 5 drawings within a week and had non-ending motivation.
