I think the one big thing I'm a bit disappointed in is why it's just male belfs and female humans for their mortal forms.

Seems weird to make what are relatively minor customization options that are mainly face-based for two models only, not even both humans or both elves.

Not every figure. Majority of previous iterations have discoloration/veins/bruising on them. Even in game models are dark with some discoloration.
