Scythes I like for The style, it's why I replaced it for Hyua with a Greatsword a long time ago. But if I didn't he'd probably have this.
It's also what I made Excalibur look like for another one of my characters.
More #DnD characters. Made him initially at level 19 so here's the lever 19 fit. But apparently, he's supposed to be level 6 so guess who gotta be redrawn. Still not sold on the name I wanted to give him though.

The only other thing I can add is try to pay attention to shape language in your designs as shown below. You can mix and match these shape elements into your designs to sell certain aspects of their characters.
